I work as an artist and educator around Cheshire and Greater Manchester running a business that provides educational art workshops.
All workshops are tailored to meet a group's needs. I have worked in all key stages - from nursery through to Higher Education and including special needs. My workshops address all aspects of Art and Design within the National Curriculum and target a knowledge and skills based approach to learning, in a confident and enjoyable atmosphere.
I studied sculpture and painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, and have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.
I am CRB checked and have adequate public liability cover for all art workshops.

Book Making
Why not make your own sketch and note books and fill them with your own creative work? This workshop demonstrates the basics of book making and gets pupils and staff producing a wide range of individually made books. The simplest books can take less than ten minutes to make, whilst more challenging books can be as intricate as you like incorporating an array of media and techniques.
A line of hand made sketch books hang out to dry after being dipped in red ink and bound with coloured raffia. These book were inspired by prayer trees found in some Taoist Temples.
