I work as an artist and educator around Cheshire and Greater Manchester running a business that provides educational art workshops.
All workshops are tailored to meet a group's needs. I have worked in all key stages - from nursery through to Higher Education and including special needs. My workshops address all aspects of Art and Design within the National Curriculum and target a knowledge and skills based approach to learning, in a confident and enjoyable atmosphere.
I studied sculpture and painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, and have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.
I am CRB checked and have adequate public liability cover for all art workshops.

Canopic Jars
Each child is asked to chose a Special Object personal to them and build
a Canopic Jar or Vessel to contain or symbolise their important object.
The workshop looks at Ancient Egyptian art and in particular Canopic Jars.
The vessels are modelled out of Magic Clay and painted with acrylics.
