I work as an artist and educator around Cheshire and Greater Manchester running a business that provides educational art workshops.

All workshops are tailored to meet a group's needs. I have worked in all key stages - from nursery through to Higher Education and including special needs. My workshops address all aspects of Art and Design within the National Curriculum and target a knowledge and skills based approach to learning, in a confident and enjoyable atmosphere.

I studied sculpture and painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, and have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.

I am CRB checked and have adequate public liability cover for all art workshops.

Monet's Garden
This workshop is centred around observational drawing skills, where children are given real flowers to draw and study from. The purpose of using real flowers is to get the children used to looking in detail at the things they are drawing. I have found that this workshop has worked really well, with key stage one children. This workshop is also a great way to introduce children to artists work, such as Monet’s Garden paintings or Van Gogh’s Sunflowers.
