The compliments book is where we say nice, true compliments about everyone in our class in turn. We ask almost everyone to say
something.

Agenda Box
The agenda box is a box to stow your ideas for the school. These ideas
could be brought forward to the headmaster where he could develop, change or ask for it to be done.

Special Boxes
You bring special boxes into school so you can look in them when you are feeling sad, frustrated or angry. You can fill it with all
your best things best things. Only you can look in it.

Superstar of the Day
I think Superstar of the day is a great idea because you get a prize out
of the year 5 Superstar box, and you get to do a rap, clap or a speech.
Then all of the class has to copy you. You become superstar of the day
by being helpful, sensible or being good all day.

The Worry Book
We use the worry book to write down anything that is bothering us. It helps us to think and make suggestions abut how to help.

The Thinking Diaries
We use the thinking diaries to say how we are feeling, e.g. happy, sad.
If we are upset our teacher tries to help us either by talking about it or sorting it out.

Circle Time
Circle time is when the teacher can hear the children's opinion on things
going around school, the teacher decides a circle time topic and Jeffrey,
the circle time teddy, is passed around the circle, when you get him you
can speak and everyone else listens. Everyone likes circling time and
enjoys being listened to, for once!

Artist of the day
Artist of the day is an award you are presented with if you have been
spotted doing good work. When you get it and you feel proud of your try
that day. It makes you feel respected. It does not matter if you have
done an abstract, an imaginative picture or a sketch as long as you have
been trying hard in your piece then you can get the award.
